Post-doctoral fellows:
At the post-doctoral level, we require a background in genomics, chromatin biology, transcription or cancer biology. Post-doctoral fellows should apply with a cover letter stating their motivation for joining our research program and a description of their prior research experience. They will be asked to present a research seminar to the group and propose a research project.
Graduate Students:
We are recruiting motivated graduate students with a wide range of interests, including transcription, epigenetics, 3D genomics, cancer genomics and computational biology. If you are already part of a Harvard graduate program and interested in rotating, please directly contact Sarah for a chat. We offer a collaborative training environment such that our students receive support well beyond our laboratory, including from our computational collaborators. Students are given both broad independence and significant support for their training and thesis work.
Post-bac opportunities:
Research technicians should apply with a cover letter stating their motivation for joining our research program and a description of their prior research experience, coursework, GPA and references. No specific background is required and we encourage applications from across biology, chemistry, physics, computer science and engineering. Research technicians in the laboratory historically have very independent projects and function more like junior graduate students than is typical across Harvard labs. We are dedicated to supporting post-bac trainees and have a successful track record of alumni going onto medical and graduate school.
